Lunula Laser to treat fungal nail infection

Fungal nail infections are caused by a dermaphyte fungi which attacks the
keratin in the nail leaving it discoloured, thickened and distorted. The
fungus can attack all of the nail including the nail plate, bed and root of
the nail. The medical name for this type of infection is onychomycosis.
Although initially the infection may not cause any discomfort or pain, it
is unsightly, and is likely to spread to all nails and those of other
members of the family.

Eventually it can cause pain and discomfort as the
nails become very thickened and are pushed onto the nail bed when wearing
shoes. There are several ways of treating fungal nail infections from
paint on treatments, to oral medical and laser treatments.
